About

We are a charity and specialist centre based in Exeter, which is dedicated to the care and education of young people with little or no sight and additional complex needs.
Mission

Our aim is to develop our young people’s independence so that they can develop academically and socially, whatever their ability.

Company Overview
We are a registered charity and a specialist centre in Exeter for the education and care of children and young adults with visual impairment and additional needs from all across the Southern England. We currently have 101 young people aged 5 to 24 years old, all of whom have little or no sight and 95% of whom have additional complex needs such as physical disabilities, learning disabilities, other sensory impairment, medical needs and life limiting degenerative conditions. We raise funds in order to bridge the gap between the fees we recieve from the Local Authority and the funds we need to buy additional specialist equipment, facilities and activites. Without fundraising, our young people would not have access to opportunities that have such an enormous positive long-term impact on their lives.
