Great Results for Exeter Charities
Exeter Business Network saw a great turnout for the Christmas celebrations, with over 100 people in attendance!
The charity raffle was a huge success- thank you all for being so supportive!
The member charities, St Loye’s Foundation, Families for Children, West of England School and College and Devon Air Ambulance each gave a moving and poignant speech on the work they do, and we here at Business Network SW feel privileged to be able to help and support such worth while causes.

Sean was very pleased to be presented with his certificate from Families for Children as well as his wand!
And a huge thank you has to be given to the members for donating such brilliant prizes- to name but a few… £100 voucher off a beautiful holiday cottage in France from Chris Robillard, premiership rugby tickets from June Hutchings at Sandy Park, copious amounts of wine, bubbly and spirits, Dudley Hambleton‘s spiritual session and from On the Mark Photography a Michelin cap signed by Lewis Hamilton!
Together we raised over £560 for the charities- just over £140 each!

“Excellent lunch today, as ever.” Kevin Phillips- The Performance Improvement Partnership
A huge thank you goes out to all of you who made it such a huge success and hope the same can be done to help The Jessie May Trust and Headway Somerset and our next Bristol and Taunton events.
Just in from Devon Air Ambulance Trust……………..
We were delighted to receive a donation of £141.00 from Business Network South West following the lunch at Sandy Park on the 1st December. We and the people we serve are most grateful for your support.
Your gift is already making a difference and will assist us in keeping Devon’s two Air Ambulances flying. The service has now been in operation for 19 years, during which time the helicopters have flown in excess of 17,000 missions – helping to save lives and boosting our patients’ chances of making a full and speedy recovery. Thanks to your generosity many families throughout Devon are together in 2011 which may not have been possible without your support.
Once again, our grateful thanks for your generous assistance and may we take this opportunity to wish you a very happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.
Yours sincerely
Maggie Little
