New Year’s Resolution Evening
January 26, 2012 – Somerset College
Get more involved with social media
Andrew Knutt of ADK Design will be talking about the benefits and limitations of social media, and answering your questions.
Explore the benefits of an apprenticeship
The government is very keen to promote apprenticeships, but can they really work in your organisation? Lesley Watson from Serco will be talking about why they have employed apprentices and will continue to do so. Jack Fleming from the National Apprenticeship Service will also be available to answer any questions.
Network more
Seize the opportunity to network with other business leaders in a pleasant and friendly environment.
Find out more about Somerset College
Principal Rachel Davies will be sharing a few facts and figures, and discussing how the College works with local businesses.
It’s supported by Taunton Chamber of Commerce, and is particularly looking at social media, but it is also an opportunity to network, and find out more about apprenticeships. It’s taking place at Somerset College (in the training restaurant, the Quantock Restaurant – who are proving the refreshments) on the 26th January at 5.30pm.
