This workshop is designed to give you the skills you need to promote your business online by providing a practical
overview of the key tools available – Google, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIN. As well as how to provide online
communications and customer service to your customer base. It will show you how to use these tools to generate new sales leads to drive business growth, to improve communications and or interact with your customer base using the online tools they like to use. By the end of the day you will be starting to use these key tools effectively.


This course is for businesses or organisations from all industries who:

  • Are aware of internet and social marketing but don’t know how it can benefit their business or organisation.
  • Are keen to use internet and social media tools but don’t know where to begin.
  • Already have accounts for some of these tools but aren’t sure what to do next to make them more effective in their marketing, online communications and or customer service strategy.


Learn how to use:

  • Google Places to show potential customers you’re in the local area.
  • Google Adwords to drive more traffic to your website so more local customers use your services.
  • Google Analytics and Google Webmaster to improve your website’s performance in search engines.
  • Social networking tools, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIN, to communicate and build your customer service relationships online, as well as how to engage and interact with them.
  • All these tools to form a successful online communications and customer service strategy for your organisation.


During the workshop you will use:

  • Google Places to create a local organisation listing.
  • Facebook to create active content for your organisation fan page to communicate and engage with your customer base.
  • Twitter to further build awareness of the organisation within the local community online, gain new followers and how to interact with them.
  • LinkedIN as a relationship building tool with local business communities.


After attending this course, you will have gained an excellent understanding of how to use the internet and social media, to benefit your organisation in improved communications with your customer base online. You will have also created a foundation to build a successful online customer service strategy, including:

  • The potential benefits from using Google Adwords, Analytics and Webmaster to promote and enhance your website.
  • Being able to provide useful, helpful info to your customer base via the online tools they like to use in their day to day lives, like Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn. As well as being able to engage and interact with them online.
