Q Social Media March Newsletter

March 20, 2012

Welcome to the Q Social Media March Newsletter, top tips for marketing online and upcoming social media training events.

Top Tips:

1) Part of Sales Process – social media and Google can be used as part of the sales process. For example use LinkedIn to collact testimonials and copy these to your website. Then mention them in sales proposals, the prospects may even know one of the people giving the testimonial too, which can only further help build your case as why you over your competitors.

2) Google yourself – ideally you are looking to see at least your testimonial page and LinkedIn profile (if applicable) come up on page one of Google. This way if prospects were to do this (and we have heard a few people doing this) they could research you and feel further reassured in talking to you during the sales process.

Unfortunately no new blog at the moment due to technical issues with the back end of our blog site, once fixed it will be more on using social media and Google in the sales process.

However Marie Leverett (who is also our social media manager) has a really useful blog on the NEW Facebook Timeline for Pages layout.
