This year will see an unprecedented number of events taking place which could have an impact on your business.

Somerset West Businesses Against Crime and the Taunton Chamber of Commerce have arranged an event for businesses to negate some of the potential issues that could occur over the coming year.

The event will take place on Wednesday the 2nd of May 2012 at the Long Room, Somerset County Cricket Club, Taunton.

This event is free of charge but attendees must confirm their attendance to ensure entry to the event. A networking lunch has also been incorporated to help you get the most out of the day.

09.00-09.30- Registration

09.30-11.30- Project Argus: Counter Terrorism and Business Continuity Exercise.

11.30-11.45- Break

11.45-13.30- Project Argus: Counter Terrorism and Business Continuity Exercise.

13.30-14.30- Networking Lunch

14.30-16.00- Bank of England: Anti-counterfeiting Presentation

16.00- Close

These programmes have been specifically designed to raise awareness on issues such as counterfeit currency, business continuity and counter terrorism.

Representatives from the Bank of England, Avon & Somerset Constabulary, Devon & Somerset Fire Service, and local authorities will be present at this event.
