Opening at The Castle at Taunton – 26th July – Castle Bow Bar & Grill
New Chef. New Restaurant.
The Castle at Taunton opens
Castle Bow Bar & Grill.
After closing its restaurant fifteen months ago, Taunton’s landmark Castle Hotel has reinvented itself with the opening this week of Castle Bow Bar & Grill.
The kitchen will be led by new Head Chef, Liam Finnegan, 27, under the supervision of Director and Co-proprietor, Dominic Chapman, the Michelin starred laureate of the Royal Oak, Paley Street in Berkshire.
The interior of the Grill, designed by Co-proprietor, Louise Chapman, is relaxed, informal but stylish with etched mirrors, large framed prints and Tiffany chandeliers to give the space a dash of 1930’s Art Deco.
Service will be under the direction of General Manager Marc Mac Closkey and Grill Manager, Dean Sharland. Open for Lunch: Wed – Sun 12.00-2.30pm and Dinner: Wed – Sat 7.00-9.30pm. The Bar is open every day.
Castle Proprietor Kit Chapman, Dominic’s father, said “Above all, our new Grill is going to be fun, with terrific food everyone will love – and importantly, at an affordable price”.
