The event started with an introduction by Sean Humby – Exeter Business Network Host – quoting Jesse Owen’s “Look for the good – it’s all around you, find it, showcase it and you’ll start believing in it” exactly what actively participating in networking events can do for you and your business

Whilst the 2 course lunch was served each person delivered their table presentations – exchanged business cards, all expertly orchestrated by the designated table hosts. Each person had the opportunity to
- Introduce their company/organisation
- Outline what they do – the benefits that they bring to their customers/clients
- explain what type of customers/clients that they looking to build relationships with?
- ask how the people around the table could help them or their customers/contacts?
- outline what they are looking to purchase, what challenges do they have
- refer the people around the table to others that you know?
Before the lunch speaker there was an opportunity – using the seating plan – to network around the room – more opportunities for conversations, collaborations and connections.
