Chef Liam, having successfully opened Castle Bow Bar & Grill, has now introduced a new menu in BRAZZ, offering classic brasserie dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients at a great price. Everything is now cooked in our open kitchen to ensure speedy service and we have dropped our service charge too… Check out the new menu!

- Castle Bow Bar & Grill: Chef Liam Finnegan has been working on his latest masterpiece – a new Tasting Menu! An excellent way to sample the best The Grill has to offer.
- Taunton Literary Festival Saturday, 22nd September: We are hosting the opening day of this year’s LitFest with an exciting triple bill and if you book lunch, afternoon tea or dinner with the authors, you will receive the talk tickets FREE!

- Wine Seminar, Tutored Tasting & Lunch: Thursday, 11th October at 11.00am – £49: Guru Mike Lury of Corney & Barrow returns to The Castle to lead our second seminar and tasting for wine lovers. Compare and contrast 8 top-flight wines. Two Rieslings, Germany vs New Zealand; two Viogniers, a Condrieu from the Northern Rhône vs a Viognier from Australia; two great Spanish wines, a Rioja and one from Ribera del Duero; and a Syrah from the Northern Rhône vs a Shiraz from the Barossa Valley, Australia.Wine will be served with lunch which will begin with a blind tasting of an English fizz vs a top Champagne. For you to decide which is which!
- Paul Chan – Hong Kong Tailor: Monday, 15th October 2012
We are delighted to welcome back Paul Chan, our favourite Hong Kong tailor, on Monday, 15th October. He will be taking fittings and orders in our Penthouse from 9am to 5pm in half-hour sessions. If you have a favourite outfit or suit which you would like Mr Chan to copy, please bring it along. - Autumn Gastronomic Evening: Friday, 26th October at 7.00pm – £125 including all wines: Dining Club members will be treated to a grand tour of some of the finest white wines of Burgundy and reds from Bordeaux to match an equally splendid menu composed by Chef Liam Finnegan. First, gather for a champagne welcome – fine canapés will accompany Delamotte Blanc de Blancs NV, Mesnil Sur Oger in magnums. And here’s the line-up of wines with dinner. (Many served from large bottles.) Saint Aubin, Dents de Chien 1er Cru 2010, Olivier Leflaive / Puligny-Montrachet 2010 François Carillon / Songes de Magdelaine 2007 Grand Cru, Saint Emilion / Château Talbot 2003, Saint Julien / Château de Malle 2003, Sauternes. Some of these wonderful wines are in short supply. So early booking is advisable.
