Collaboration and Innovation Training an Invitation to Apply…………….

January 30, 2013

Brilliant – like I say conversations lead to connections and collaborations – so the fact that there is now an opportunity to attend an event to learn more is fabulous!

Thank you to Hugh Graham – The Bid Coach for passing on the details – that’s collaboration!

Are you considering collaboration with another business / individual or have you recently started on a collaborative venture?

If yes, would you like to know more about:

  • The legal aspects of a collaboration agreement (including protecting everyone involved and addressing intellectual property issues)
  • The business implications for both parties (including a ‘new way of working’)
  • Addressing the personal growth issues that can sometimes act as barriers to collaborative working
  • Overcoming the individual and team dynamics that can prevent healthy collaborations?

This series of three half-day workshops, starting in Taunton on 21 February 2013 (10.00 – 13.00), will address all of the above – plus much more, tailored to what the group wants to explore.

The workshops will be led by experienced professional facilitators in the field of:
  • Legal agreements, and practical legal issues
  • Organisational culture and team dynamics relating to collaboration
  • Overcoming personal barriers and challenges to collaboration and forming relationships

This project aims to kick-start development of a collaborative business model with business owners to form sustainable and productive collaborations, helping the sector respond to economic pressures. It is 25% funded by Somerset County Council Creative Industries Development Funding.
