Zig Ziglar made an appearance and invites out for Abraham Lincoln, Richard Branson and Bill Clinton

November 7, 2013

“Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.” – Zig Ziglar b 6/11/1926

The Exeter Business Network event on 6th November at Exeter Golf & Country Club began with a seminar  – the A-Z of Networking
During the seminar those attending were asked who they would most like to have a coffee with – Abraham Lincoln, Richard Branson, Bill Clinton, James Kahn, Simon Cowell, Ranulph Fiennes, Oliver Reed, The Queen, Ellen McArthur, Scott Jurek and Richie Macraw were among those nominated – what a coffee morning that would be.  The seminar delivered by Sean Humby (that’s me!) covered everything form your story, the art of proxemics, open and closed groups, Brand You, following up, using social media – a whistle stop tour!

Slides available on Slideshare

Followed by THE networking lunch – a room full of conversations and connections over a served 2 course lunch – slow cooked creedy caver duck followed by an autumn fruit salad with coffee and chocolates!
Believe me when I say that the room was full of conversations – perhaps a video next time!!!?
