Lyme Regis Lifeboat, The Spirit of Loch Fyne is an 8.5 metre rigid inflatable. The Atlantic 85 was introduced in the latter half of 2005 as the latest development of the B class and Lyme Regis received delivery of the brand new boat in April this year. They have a manually operated self-righting mechanism and are capable of being beached in an emergency without sustaining damage to engines or steering gear. The Atlantic 85 is fitted with radar and VHF direction finding equipment and can be operated safely in daylight in a force 6/7 and at night in a force 5/6. The tour will be with Tim Wadsworth a volunteer lifeboat crew and will take approximately 30/45 minutes. You will see where the crew rush to change in to their all weather gear. Get answers to questions you have always wondered about. You can climb onto the Lifeboat but we won’t be going to sea! This will be ideal for a family with young children or groups of up to ten. £££££££

***If you cannot attend the auction in person to bid, you can submit a commission bid
Commission bids are the maximum amount up to which the auctioneer may bid on your behalf. They will be executed at the lowest possible price having regard to any reserve and competing bids. If two buyers submit identical commission bids, the auctioneer will give preference to the first bid received. The auctioneer will execute commission bids directly from the rostrum, clearly identifying the successful bid as commission bid.
