“Why businesses shouldn’t use social media”

Optix will explain why “just because everyone else is using social media” it doesn’t always mean you have to. There are several reasons why not participating in all types of social media could be OK for some businesses, especially if they are not doing it correctly.
Not following social media best practices could actually be detrimental to your online presence and brand. But social media does present a unique opportunity to connect with and build trust with your customers and potential customers, giving businesses and users alike a way to interact like never before.
Optix will be looking at scenarios in which social media is not the right marketing channel for businesses to use. We will consider which businesses should make social media a priority and those that should be finding alternative methods for communicating with their target audience(s).

There is a table host at each table and you have a 3 minute presentation to do for the others around your table – enthuse and inspire and build relationships. PLUS you will have a copy of the seating plan which lists everyone attending , their name, business name and what their business does and importantly what table they are sat on – more business building opportunities!
