Fabulous, fantastic and splendid!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Bristol Business Network event at Mercure Holland House yesterday – their generosity – in donating raffle prizes~~ and cash helped raise £286 for The Jessie May Trust!
The video that Chris Roys (CEO) and Lindsey Horton (Corporate Fundraiser) showed at the event is here
How to become a corporate partner – Jessie May Trust needs at least 100 businesses (30 by May 2015) who can raise/donate/support at least £1,000 to ensure that their team of dedicated Children’s Nurses and Nursery Nurses provide the specialist care and support to help alleviate some of huge emotional and physical strain that whole families go through when told that their child will die before them. This support is provided in the comfort of the family’s own home whenever possible from the time of diagnosis onwards.
I was sat on the same table as Lindsey and she said that they had been contacted by 21 families since May…..

The event began with a fabulous seminar hosted by Open Network Associates and Innovecom – “IT – can’t live with it, can’t live without IT” – showing how with a little thought, some planning and preparation and involving professionals your IT – no matter how little or how much can postively help your business.
Pre- lunch drinks and networking certainly got the conversations started
And this continued at lunch – being sat on the same table as Mark Leveridge – not only a fabulous strolling magician but also a magician who has launched a new business –Magicards – personalised E cards with magic videos – that’s not all – Christmas Card Special – send one card to as many people as you wish for just £2.99
How about this as an idea to be memorable – a great example of how preparing and planning your networking can make a huge difference…………….
These mugs were created by Matt Richardson of Recognition Express for everyone that was sat on the same table. What an impact and show what you can do to make your networking more effective and memorable for those that you meet. Ask your networking event organiser – they will be able to help!
