What is it? It’s the Bristol Business Network July event
When is it? 9/7/14 – a Wednesday!
Where is it? Redwood Hotel & Country Club, Beggar Bush Lane, Failand, Bristol, BS8 3TG – minutes from Bristol city centre – easily accessible, free car parking.
What will happen at this event? First – Business seminar before THE networking lunch – networking over coffee and then the opportunity to participate and learn during the seminar
Missing a Trick: Is software really helping your business?

In the 12 years that Ken has been running Redwing Excel he has learned two truths about business.
1. A vast amount of money is spent every year on software which either fails to meet the business need or is in fact no use at all.
2. An incalculable number of hours are wasted every year on manual processes that could be automated and made infinitely more efficient if only the business had the right software. Add to that a quote from Mitch Ratcliffe “A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any other invention in human history, with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.” and we can see the problems that software can create

This seminar explores how your business can avoid these traps by defining its own processes and understanding how some simple software development, often using the tools that they already have, can make a very significant and cost effective difference. Networking over drinks, a sit down served 2 course lunch,conversations leading to connections and collaborations. You sit with other decision makers – none of whom do what you do. There is a table host at each table and you have a 3 minute presentation to do for the others around your table – enthuse and inspire and build relationships. PLUS you will have a copy of the seating plan which lists everyone attending , their name, business name and what their business does and importantly what table they are sat on enabling you to network the room – more business building opportunities!
Guest speaker – tbc! Possibly an Area 51 revelation or something sartorial!
What is my investment? Cost of event is £36.00 (Inc VAT) per decision maker – covering seminar, coffee, 2 course served lunch with drinks and coffee, delegate list, follow up details
