I sent the following email to photographers (4 ) that I met over the years at Business Network SW events and this little example proves the much quoted quote from Robert Kiyosaki “The richest people in the world grow and build networks. Everyone else looks for work” Networking and your connections really does work!

I am hosting my Exeter Business Network event next Wednesday (2/7/14) at Bovey Castle.
With over 70 booked I wondered if you would like to come and take some photo’s of the event – nothing too onerous just people networking – that can be used for the social diaries in the various magazines such as Devon Life etc?
There would be a free lunch in it for you – so you can network and promote your business and expertise!
I have contacted other photographers that I know so it’s first come first served!

And I had a response within 7 minutes!
