September 11, 2014

“When the doors of opportunity swing open, we must make sure that we are not too indifferent to walk through”

 Jesse Jackson 8/10/1941

“480% more committed to helping the business succeed and 370% more likely to recommend” – now there’s a door of opportunity!

The door of opportunity is open for you and your business to come to an event that is guaranteed to deliver conversations, connections and collaborations. And guaranteed that you will leave better informed and better connected than when you arrived!
By means of introduction, I am Sean Humby, Director and host for Business Network SW events and I am delighted to share this with you – an invitation to book for the event on 8th October
100 reasons to attend BNSW event
The event comprises a business seminar with networking over coffee and a relaxed and structured networking lunch with numerous opportunities for you to build relationships with other business owners, directors, partners and decision makers

Seminar before THE networking lunch

Whether you employ staff, are looking to employ staff, know people who employ staff or are looking to – this seminar will ensure that you are better informed and more knowledgeable.  Ideal for those who offer advice to other businesses or work with businesses that employ staff.
Ensuring your staff are motivated, engaged with your business and remain that way is an important part of running a business; after all they are your most expensive asset! But why should we care if our employees are motivated?
  • Because motivated employees add 4 times more value and are 81% less likely to leave
  • Because they are 480% more committed to helping the business succeed and 370% more likely to recommend their job to a friend
  • Because 30% are less likely to take a sick day
During this seminar we will look at what skills and tools you can use to make sure you keep your staff involved and happy.  Areas we will cover will include:
  • Why motivation is important
  • What motivates people
  • What motivation tools will work for you
Hosted by Belinda Newton of the HR Dept (an HR Advisory Expert) and Nicky Dunn of Mego Employment Centres (a Recruitment Expert) between us we have seen enough bad practice over the years to know how to do things properly!
Coffee and networking from 10am and seminar starts at 10.30am (optional, always rewarding, included in the price and a great networking opportunity!)

Followed by THE Networking Lunch

Pre lunch drinks and informal networking from 11.45am. Sit down for 2 course lunch with coffee at 12.30pm
You sit with other decision makers – none of whom do what you do. There is a table host at each table and you have 3 minutes to talk to the others around your table about what you do and how this helps businesses/individuals/organisations.  PLUS you will have a copy of the seating plan which lists everyone attending , their name, business name and what their business does and importantly what table they are sat on enabling you to network with others  – more business building opportunities!
