Created by a family for families
Jessica May died at home aged 4 1/2 months surrounded by her family and supported by a team of nurses. Her parents created Jessie May to ensure that every child who is not expected to reach adulthood receives nursing care within the home. Since 1996 we have been providing this care, free of charge, in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Bath Half Marathon

Could you run the Bath Half for Jessie May?
The Jessie May Trust is looking for intrepid runners to join Team Jessie May for the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 1st March 2015!
The Vitality Bath Half Marathon – or the ‘Bath Half’ as it is affectionately known, is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. It is also the largest charity fundraising event in the South West region, raising over £2.0 million for charity last year alone. The course itself is fast and flat making it suitable for all abilities – for beginners whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long-distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time. It covers a two lap 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic-free course straddling both sides of the River Avon. The race starts and finishes in Great Pulteney Street, in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath.
We need your support now for Team Jessie May to help us develop our vital services supporting families with children affected by life limiting condition across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset.
Horse racing at Bath Racecourse
We’ve teamed up with Bath Racecourse for the Big Bank Holiday Fun Day of Horse Racing on Monday 4th May.
Join us this May Bank Holiday for a day the whole family can enjoy. There will be lots of entertainment as well as seven exciting horse races. PLUS Peppa Pigwill be making appearances at intervals on the day in the grandstand enclosure, to see her young fans! (Please note there will be limited entertainment in the Centre Course picnic enclosure.)
Grandstand Tickets are £19.00 (plus £1.50 booking fee if you pay by credit or debit card) per adult and children under 18 go free

Bungee Jump for Jessie May

Could you face your fears …and jump for Jessie?
The Jessie May Trust are looking for courageous individuals for a 160ft Bungee Jump on Sunday 17th May 2015
Jessie May is taking over the Bath Racecourse for a daredevil day of diving off a 160ft crane. This event will mark the end of Jessie May Week 2015 and will ensure the week ends with a high (and then a 160ft low).
The Bungee day will be lead by UK Bungee. With over 20 years of experience they are the market leader for Bungee Jumping in Great Britain.

Bristol 10km

The Jessie May Trust is looking for people to join Team Jessie May on the start line for the 2015 Bristol 10km on Sunday 31st May.
With 15,000 runners signing up to take part this years race, the Bristol 10k is now one of the fastest growing and most popular of its kind in the UK. Following a similar route to the Bristol Half Marathon it goes through the centre of Bristol and takes in some of the finest landmarks the city has to offer.

Bristol to Bath Marathon

Could you be part of the FIRST EVER Bristol to Bath Marathon and run in purple for Jessie May?
2015 marks the FIRST EVER Bristol & Bath Marathon, organised by Bath-based GO2 Events.
This brand new marathon for the South West begins in Bristol, the vibrant city of Bridges, Brunel and Banksy, through the stunning South Gloucestershire countryside, ending victoriously in the elegant Roman Spa city of Bath. Runners will follow a closed-road route throughout the entire 26.2 mile course, taking in the sights of Bristol, before making their way through the South Gloucestershire countryside to Bath.
Jessie May is looking for people to join Team Jessie for this significant first and cross the finish line to support terminally ill children in Bristol and Bath.
