Seminar before lunch (10am – 11.45am)

Hosted by Sean Humby (yes the BNSW host!) – well I shall at least introduce it…….

There will be a very special surprise – someone who can really make the difference to your networking; after experiencing him in action I can only say that this seminar has been transformed from a “possibly get along if I can” to “If you miss this then you miss out on some of the best networking advice you will ever hear”

An A-Z for your networking will become “An interactive session where we look into networking”

  • How it works
  • How it fails
  • What makes you referable
  • What makes you invisible
  • We’ll pick apart your pitch, and come up with a plan to get your noticed!!
  • Everyone who books will get a free………………………………………………………………………………..

Followed by THE networking lunch

11.45am. Arrival for drinks before lunch and Informal networking
12.30pm. Sit down for 2 course served lunch and formal networking at your table – you will sit on a table with 7 or 8 other decision makers – none of whom do what you do – a table host will ensure that each person get at least 3 minutes to introduce themselves and their business and the benefits that it brings to others.

1.30pm – table to table networking – with your delegate list you will be able to locate and introduce yourself to others.  As a member at subsequent events you will be sat with different people

1.40pm – 10 minute Speaker – Belinda Newton – The HR Dept.

“Having difficult questions”

Most employers and managers will absolutely dread having to raise a difficult issue with an employee – Belinda Newton from The HR Dept will be giving advice on how to deal with such situation!

2pm The event finishes.

Why come along?

From a current member of Exeter Business Network…….

“add to that the fact that I’ve been introduced to great bunch of like minded businesses within a friendly and supportive network, I’ve re evaluated my marketing efforts following some interesting and thought provoking seminars, I’ve found new contacts that I can refer my own contacts to and most of all I’ve completed 5 design projects, 3 directly with members and 2 following referrals from members, that have more than paid for my membership.”  Jonathan Forster MULTI-STORY-THINKING  Architectural, interior and furniture design
