Jonathan O’Shea – The Alternative Board – your Business Effectiveness and Enlightenment session host
Jonathan brings over 30 years of experience in dealing with all aspects of business. Having spent the first 10 years as an accountant in public practice and the subsequent 20 years in the not for profit sector either as Finance Director or Chief Executive.
Jonathan’s career has always been about supporting and developing people and their businesses. Whilst his work in the not for profit sector was supporting people through the services that were provided by the organisations, it was invariably in an environment where the funds were maximised by ensuring that the activities were being run in the most efficient and effective possible way. This has been achieved though his expertise in investments, fund management, property development, property management, retail outlets and the provision of services.
Having been Chief Executive of organisations with between 4 and more than 200 people, Jonathan understands how to deliver success for organisations and the challenges that go with achieving this.
This session will have a brief introduction into how the morning will work and then a very practical demonstration of a board meeting with the time being spent working through a couple of issues from those attending.
