Monthly lunch time networking events that bring the decision makers, directors and partners of local businesses together and have done so since 1993.

  • Your table is hosted & you don’t sit with anyone who does what you do

  • Back to your office for the afternoon as event finishes at 2pm.

How to fill your sales pipeline with the right types of customers


Too many businesses are stuck churning out “me too” marketing, where they talk about their services, without much thought for the customer’s real challenges.

This session will guide you through the key stages to engaging with your ideal target customers and turning them into high quality sales leads.

Michael has 17+ years in marketing, sales and business management. Having started his career with Intel, he went on to develop his marketing skills at Vodafone and Netgear. He’s the proud co-founder of BPI OnDemand, an award winning Oracle CRM / CX solutions partner and following his fight with leukaemia, he set-up Beyond-Consulting, to get back to what he loves – creating great marketing for SME businesses.

Content of this session: How much time does your sales team waste on sales leads that take ages to get a sale, don’t get anywhere or turn into a real pain once they’re a customer? This can be solved by making sure your marketing activities attract the right customers, using engaging content that talks to their needs. This will make you stand out from the “me too” marketing messages (cheaper, faster, newer, tastier etc) that your competitors are relying upon.

  • Why you should come: This will help you transform the quality of your sales pipeline and generate customers that will give a long term relationship.
  • What you will take from it: A 6 step process to develop a marketing plan to generate higher quality sales leads, more repeat business and increased customer referrals.
  • Actions for your business: Prioritise your target customer groups and use the 6 step process to develop a marketing plan to focus on these groups in order of importance, at your own pace.


THE Networking Lunch

  • 11.45am. Arrival for drinks before lunch; an informal free range networking session, you have a choice of wine, fruit juice or water. You will be introduced to other members during this time.
  • 12.30pm. Sit down for 2 course served lunch with coffee and formal networking at your table – you will sit on a table with 7 or 8 other decision makers – none of whom do what you do – a table host will help conduct proceedings!
  • 1.30pm – table to table networking. Your opportunity to go and talk to someone else in the room (the seating plan will help you locate them), continue your conversation or start a new one with someone else on your table. As a member at subsequent events you will be sat with different people
  • 1.40pm – The 10 minutes – Steve Tasker – Your Finance Director – 10 minutes of wisdom, tips with no selling!
  • Event finishes at 2pm – feel free to continue to network with the others in the room. It is a great time to make those appointments or even use the venue facilities to continue your conversations.
