Before the networking lunch

The title of the seminar is “Survive and Thrive – the 12 big lessons I have learned in 37 years as a self-employed business owner”.
With coffee served at 10am and networking until the 10.30am start another great opportunity for you to develop connections
Marks talk will cover business principles that he has learned and used in order to make a living for almost 4 decades, and it will cover finance, marketing, business organisation, and a whole range of practical ideas and thoughts about how to not only survive from day to day, but also how to be truly successful.
Mark will provide those who attend with inspiration, enthusiasm and maybe even fresh ideas to invigorate their businesses no matter what field they operate in.
Followed by THE Networking Lunch
11.45am. Arrival for drinks before lunch; an informal free range networking session, you have a choice of wine, fruit juice or water.
12.30pm. Sit down for 2 course served lunch with coffee and formal networking at your table – you will sit on a table with 7 or 8 other decision makers – none of whom do what you do – a table host will help conduct proceedings!
During the lunch each decision maker at your table will have 3 minutes to explain to the others the benefits that you and your organisation can offer; the type of business that you are looking for and also how other businesses can help you. Be memorable so that other people will be able to remember and refer.
1.30pm – table to table networking. Your opportunity to go and talk to someone else in the room (the seating plan will help you locate them), continue your conversation or start a new one with someone else on your table. As a member at subsequent events you will be sat with different people
1.40pm – The 10 minutes speaker Inge Dowden
Event finishes at 2pm – feel free to continue to network with the others in the room. It is a great time to make those appointments or even use the venue facilities to continue your conversations. Or be back to the office after having a super productive start to your day!
