This event like the previous 309 gives you the opportunity to meet numerous other senior decision makers from locally based businesses in a relaxed and focused environment. It is a proven way and sustainable way of continuing to develop your business.

Our venue for the event is The Bristol Hotel, a fine city centre venue with adjacent discounted car parking for those attending.

In brief – a business seminar with networking over coffee, networking over drinks and a structured, served networking lunch with other senior decision makers.

10.00am – 11.45am Business seminar – coffee served from 10am – informal networking opportunity and session starts at 10.30am

Being hosted by Planet Start Mark

The Planet Mark Start is a collaboration with London-based Sustainability consultants, Planet First.

The premise of the programme, delivered in a Workshop format is that Sustainability is good for Business, and that Business is a power for good for society, as well as the environment.

The programme has been developed to help SMEs embrace sustainability generally, as well as considering the Marketing potential of the same.

By embracing Planet First’s “Measure, Engage, Communicate” commitment, delegates at the full workshop are able to earn TPMS sustainability certification on the day.

Session being led by Andy Weeks – Sustainable enterprise advisor.
Andy has considerable experience in the wider SME sector having spent 23 years in business banking with a major UK lender where he was responsible for a varied portfolio with aggregate debit balances of approaching £20 million. He has also worked in the charity sector for the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, (where he remains a Trustee), as well as running his own business advice consultancy and working for Business West’s ‘Access to Finance’ initiative, an independent national business support organisation.

 

Followed by THE Networking Lunch

11.45am. Arrival for drinks before lunch and Informal networking
12.30pm. Sit down for 2 course served lunch and formal networking at your table – you will sit on a table with 7 or 8 other decision makers – none of whom do what you do – a table host will ensure that each person get at least 3 minutes to introduce themselves and their business and the benefits that it brings to others.

1.30pm – table to table networking – with your delegate list you will be able to locate and introduce yourself to others. As a member at subsequent events you will be sat with different people

1.40pm – 10 minute Speaker – Acorn Health and Safety

2pm The event finishes.
