Business Seminar before THE networking lunch

Networking 2.0

Networking, a word that provokes all sorts of emotions….from a fear of going to a “networking event” and having to put yourself out there to generate business to one of excitement because you’ll meet and have conversations with a whole variety of people in different businesses with expertise and connections that can help you and those that you know.

Going to a networking event  can be daunting, and for some people it can even be intimidating.  It doesn’t have to be this way!

By coming to this session you’ll benefit from the experience and expertise of Sean Humby – host of 100’s of networking events, a visitor to 100’s more, who has seen the good, the brilliant and the not so good of what makes networking work.

We will produce a plan that you can use for any networking event covering the  Before, During and After.

Full of tips, practical advice that you can take away and use within minutes…..

Then THE Networking Lunch…..

  • Networking over drinks 11.45am – 12.30pm
  • Sit down for 2 course, served lunch with coffee at 12.30pm. Structured networking around your table with other decision makers.  Lunch finishes 2pm……
  • 1.30pm – table to table networking. Your opportunity to go and talk to someone else in the room (the seating plan will help you locate them), continue your conversation or start a new one with someone else on your table. As a member at subsequent events you will be sat with different people
  • 1.40pm – The 10 minutes – Phil Stevens – Employtec
  • Event finishes at 2pm – feel free to continue to network with the others in the room. It is a great time to make those appointments or even use the venue facilities to continue your conversations.

Your investment (a claimable expense) is £39.00 covering business effectiveness session, coffee, 2 course served lunch (main meal & dessert with coffee) with drinks – wine available, event programme, delegate list, dietary requirements are catered for.

Still in 2 minds…..here’s a recent LinkedIn recommendation from Tara Clist of Tara’s Table – Bristol’s award winning Private Chef and caterer

I’ve been a member of Sean’s Business Network South West group for coming up to a year now. I’ve been in business for 9 years and in that time, have attended many, many networking events and been a member of various networking organisations. I gave networking a break for a couple of years but kick started it again with Sean’s Business Network South West monthly lunches. People really do buy from people and Sean is a genuinely good guy who wants to help and is really giving and generous with his time and connections, in a genuine & valuable way. Lots of people and groups promise things when you join and once you are a member, all to often, you find that they don’t materialise. Sean really does deliver on his promises and has been incredibly kind and positive, he has a really in-depth knowledge of business, networking and relationship building – and his lunches are always fun.
